Lauren Rosato - Interview
Lauren Rosato, a local Jersey City artist has carved a name for herself not by chasing trends but by staying grounded in what’s real: connection, courage, and community. By day, she’s a dedicated special education teacher, channeling empathy and patience into her classroom. By night, she’s in rehearsals and performing in really interesting spaces. She creates music that holds just as much space for tenderness and truth.
Her songs aren’t written for playlists — they’re written for people. And that begins with process.
“I usually start with a phrase that’s been echoing in my head or something I’ve journaled”
Behind every lyric is a backstory, with her resilience being a core part of her music.
All of that spirit will be on full display Tuesday, July 30 at 8 PM, when Lauren performs a full-band show at Art House in Jersey City.
