PATH Board Meeting - NJ.com
“We need safer, more flexible transit—because not everyone works 9 to 5.”
I went to the PATH board meeting last week to speak about the issues on the PATH. Musicians, front line workers, and those who work in the gig economy - need a safer and more reliable form of transportation. Read about it here at NJ.COM
A safer, more efficient transportation system means:
Better crowd management during emergencies so riders aren’t left in unsafe situations.
More reliable off-peak service for those of us who work outside the traditional schedule.
Communication that centers riders, so we know what’s happening in real time.
Public transit is supposed to be the great equalizer. It should get everyone where they need to be—whether it’s 8 AM or midnight—and it should do so safely.
